BEA's LZR series offers advanced laser-based sensing solutions for various automation and safety applications. The series includes three primary models that utilize time-of-flight technology to create reliable detection fields:

  • LZR-H100: A specialized laser scanner designed for gate and barrier applications, providing an effective alternative to traditional induction loops.
  • LZR-I100/I110: Safety sensors specifically designed for industrial doors, offering optimal protection in the door threshold and its proximity with dynamic detection fields.

All models use LASER scanner technology based on time-of-flight measurement, creating precise detection areas that can be easily configured for various installation environments. These sensors represent significant advancements over conventional detection systems like induction loops, contact edges, and photocells.

  • Trajectory Detection: Ability to detect vehicle trajectory during approach and departure.

  • Pedestrian-Traffic Rejection: Ability to detect or ignore pedestrian traffic.

  • Dual-Relay Activation: Two relays allow for activation via motion or presence.

LZR-I100/I110

  • Virtual Opening Buttons: Possibility to create 2 virtual push buttons to open the door.
  • Separate Detection Areas: Safety at the opening and the closing of the door thanks to 2 separate detection areas.
  • Alternative Solution: Replaces current safety solutions such as contact edges, light beams, and lightgrids.
  • Industrial Optimization: IP65 rated, 10m cable included, filters door vibrations and environmental interferences.
  • Easy Installation: Easy positioning of the detection field thanks to 3 visible LASER beams.
  • Automatic Configuration: Automatic teach-in of door dimensions and various settings via BEA's remote control.
