SBQEDGL Select Pro Bolt-on quick exit digital access - fits up to 60mm gate frame (SBQEDGLL01, SBQEDGLR01, SBQEDGLL02, SBQEDGLR02)

This quick exit gate lock design allows for a rapid exit through gates.  Designed specifically for metal gates, the unit is simple to install yet robust.  The unit will automatically latch shut when the gate is closed.

  • Available with digital keypad (this product) or key entry (SBQEKL) from the outside
  • Easy to fit, simply drill 3 holes in the gate frame
  • 16mm one piece machined stainless steel latchbolt for security
  • Latchbolt moves 20mm
  • Adjustable latchbolt for precise fitting on site
  • Supplied with bolt guide plate and gate post strike plate
  • Security shroud (SBQES) available to prevent access to the pad from the outside (order separately)

Marine grade: Salt spray tested for 1000 hours.

Latchbolts: Adjustable, latchbolt springs 22mm (7/8").

 

DIMENSIONS

INSTALLATION

1. Drill 2 x 9mm (3/8") dia. holes at 92mm (3-5/8") centres for M8 fixing bolt.

2. Drill 18mm (3/4") clearance hole for latchbolt at 22mm (7/8") centres down from the top 9mm (3/8") hole.

3. Fix lock in place using stainless steel clamp plate, bolt support plate and 2 stainless steel countersunk fixing bolts supplied.

4. Drill clearance hole in gate post to receive the latchbolt. Slot this hole vertically to allow for gate sag – fix strike plate and bend back so the latchbolt slides smoothly.

5. Ensure latchbolt moves freely without binding on gate or frame.

6. MAINTENANCE Every two months, lubricate the latchbolt with light oil. Annually, dismantle lock and spray the mechanism inside with light oil.

 

MAINTENANCE

3 monthly:

1. Remove keypads from the lock

2. Spray the inside of the lock thoroughly with WD40 or equivalent, through the tumbler holes at the back of the lock

3. Spray all the fixing accessories and the latch with WD40 or equivalent. Push each of the buttons and rotate the knob several times to make sure the lock is working smoothly
